Bridal Beauty Tips!

Since wedding season is in full swing I thought it would be fun to provide some:

Bridal Beauty Tips

1. How long before the wedding should I start a skin care regimen?

A consistent treatment and product regimen should be between 3-6 months prior to the wedding. For more mature skin, where there could be more concerns with uneven color, laxity, expression lines and wrinkles; 6 months is crucial. Acne problems can be stubborn and feel controlling, so it can take more time to get it under control- start earlier for better results. For BEST results an AM and PM skincare routine to maximize and maintain is so important for the big day!

2. What is the difference between a facial and a peel?

A facial is deep cleansing, mild exfoliation , hydration and protection. A chemical peel can be cell regenerating, pore minimizing, and antibacterial / antimicrobial depending on which is used. Also expect an evening in your skin tone. The best results can be seen when both are done together.

3. For brides that are looking to reduce the appearance of  sagging skin, what treatment would you recommend?

Radio-frequency without a doubt it’s painless!! Radiofrequency is a noninvasive skin tightening treatment that uses radio frequency energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines, loose skin and cellulite. Certain techniques induces fat burning as well it’s a great tool for slimming and Body contouring!

4. For oily-skinned, what products and treatments do you recommend to help reduce oiliness?

The best combination to conquer shine is - definitely peels. Peels help to shed the built up layers of dullness, dead skin and thickness that lead to excess oil.

The best product to use is a: Mandelic Cleanser (nut allergies beware! : derived from bitter almonds) it exfoliates, reduces signs of pigmentation, and helps maintain the results of the peels. Pro-tip: Pair this with an oil-free SPF to finish!

5. Wedding prep; what can a bride do to get the glow she deserves?

Stimulate circulation- a hot bath, sauna, or exercise. followed by a mask (right for your skin type). Hydrate with lots of h2o, and a good night sleep!
